How Do I Begin My Healing Journey?

Confiding in someone you trust is a great first step in your after-abortion healing journey. You may feel a sigh of relief when verbalizing things you’ve kept inside for weeks, months, or even years. Consider professional after-abortion healing support.

Talk to our caring team at Springwater After Abortion Healing Services to learn the next best step for you. Every woman and man’s journey is unique after abortion.

One study revealed that women who have an abortion face an increased risk for mental health problems, including substance abuse, anxiety, and depression. Many women have walked the road you are on right now– you are not alone in your healing journey.

Maybe you felt relief after abortion but were surprised with other emotions you began to feel. Other emotional side effects of abortion can include:

  • Regret
  • Sadness
  • Feelings of isolation
  • Guilt
  • Nightmares
  • Anger or rage
  • Suicidal impulses
  • Desire to self-harm

All appointments at Springwater After Abortion Healing Services are free. It is our goal to provide you with confidential, supportive care.
